Hartford Harpooners

 From Free Safety to Flanker @c_a_m94 will be a force for Hartford. Carlos Martinez was a walk on Football player for @uconnfootball before getting his hands on a rugby ball and since then he hasn’t looked back. He’s already put in a few years on the pitch primarily playing as a center for @greenwichrugbyfootballclub and @connecticutselect now moving his way into the forwards you will see some barnstorming carries and tackles as he has an appetite for defense and strong powerful quick carries. Carlos looks to improve his knowledge of the game by studying gametime scenarios and players like @richiemccaw former @allblacks legend. The Harpooners have picked up a baller! @ssska_75052 Sondai it’s a surprise he’s not already in the @usmlr so he’s looking to get his name out even more through the Harpooners. Sondai has moved through the @usarugby pipeline from representing the Under-19 & Under 20 All American 🇺🇸 team to the USA Falcons, and playing for select side teams like @rootsrugbyfamily and in the ARP with @nyoldbluerfc Sondai has been perfecting his craft primarily playing as a playmaker he’s very versatile and eager to show the world who he is and we are excited it’s with the #hartfordharpooners #manifestinglegendaryruggers

  The Harpooners have picked up @nolan_1218 to represent the squad. Nolan is a shifty player that is very versatile with his Polynesian flare and quick feet he will be stepping his way into your hearts. Nolan started his career out in Hawaii then made his way to  Utah representing the @utahwarriorsrugby Nolan’s most recent journey found him participating in the @worldtensseries with the @miami.sun.10 in @bermuda We are excited for Nolan to join us this year donning the green and blue that is the @hartfordharpooners #hartfordharpooners #manifestinglegendaryruggers

 The Harpooners have picked up @__franklyn_  Nic Franklyn to suit up and represent the city of Hartford. Franklyn is an elusive playmaker that knows how to read the field well. Nic is phenomenal at deciding when to speed up or slow down his form of attack to keep the ball alive. Nic has represented teams @aicrugby @northeastacademy @nyrcmen @usarugby @nyoldbluerfc and we are excited for him to represent the #hartfordharpooners stay tuned to see what the team has in store for the new year. #manifestinglegendaryruggers

 Hartford Harpooners have picked up @rokostone the “Fijian Bull” Roko is an elusive front rower that has had experience in the game all over the world. He has a pretty nice set of skills for the big shifty lad who looks to share his Fijian flare and his experiences with younger players on the squad. Roko spent his time playing for the @britisharmy and had opportunities with @londonirish1898 while serving. Roko has been living in Connecticut for some time now finding his home with the @fairfieldyankeesrugby the #hartfordharpooners are excited for the Fijian Bull to suit up!#manifestinglegendaryruggers

The Hartford Harpooners have won the lottery with this sweet pick up. A Connecticut local who’s doing big things out on the world stage @ericnap . Eric is a confident young man that has developed into quite a rugby player. Already having represented some tops sides @ramblinjesters & @usarugby and making his debut as a professional rugby player for @rhinos.rugby carving and slicing it up in @bermuda . Eric is a smart and illusive player that can be found almost anywhere in the back line and we are truly excited to have him and his talents here in his home state with the #HartfordHarpooners we hope to not only see him representing in the @usmlr but even getting a look at for the national sevens team, possibly representing in the 2024 Paris Olympics #ManifestingLegendaryRuggers

 The Harpooners are happy to pick up another local legend @cappellos1 Steve Cappello a high caliber prop has represented some great teams in Connecticut from his university @scsu_mens_rugby to his men’s club @newhavenrugby he has also represented @usarugbysouth on many tours and has picked up the position of the U-23 Forwards coach with them. Steve is a veteran to the game and looks to bring his leadership and experiences to the team and front row.   The Harpooners have another exciting  pick up in the form of @z_crossfittingrugbystar. Zack spent his time representing @robertmorrisuniversity and quickly moved on to play for the @pittsburghharlequins then finding his way touring on many select side tourneys and games with  @starsrugby7s then moving on to represent @usarugbysouth where he contributed in giving @nolagoldrugby an upset that will go down in USA South Rugby History. Zack is a versatile player with a great combination of speed and power as he can be found playing in the second row or even as a menacing winger. Zack is excited to continue his career as he looks to do one better with the #hartfordharpooners Welcome to the squad brother! #manifestinglegendaryruggers

  The Hartford Harpooners have picked up another international and @delawarerugby alumni  @k_ronix. Justin Lopez is a shifty elusive playmaker that has gone on to represent teams @skillrugby @phillyunitedrugby @nyac_rugby and his country @fedorugby you can find Justin playing in the centers or as a winger and when he gets the ball in hand expect him to do something big as he loves to have a go and is not shy of getting physical. Hartford Harpooners have caught ourselves a beauty in the form of @anthonycimino24 Anthony started his rugby career out of @xavierhs and went on to continue playing @shumensrugby from there he got noticed for his exceptional athleticism and was selected to represent @connecticutselect and @rugbyunitedny under 23 team. This is one youngster you will enjoy seeing playing on the pitch. He still is very raw to the game but host many talents and we are thrilled it will be with the #hartfordharpooners Anthony is also finishing up his degree in Strength and Conditioning and here at Harpooners we look for him to develop those skills as being our S&C Coach. #morethanjustarugbyplayer

  Hartford Harpooners pick up @notjimmytraps James Sheridan and are excited to have him join us. James currently playing for @nyoldbluerfc picked up the game while down at @stonybrookrugby. He’s gone on to represent the @northeastacademy and @usarugbysouth he’s a a hard charging prop that looks to bring his physical prowess to the Harpooners. You’ll find him playing in the front row but don’t let that fool you as he has a bit of @dane__coles flair, yup we said it.
